Sofa/designed by NISHIKAWA Katsuhito
TANIT furniture is designed by NISHIKAWA Katsuhito. He uses white birch from Finland, which is both very rigid and durable, to make the plywood. This plywood is made by gluing together and pressing several 1.5 mm thick sheets of wood. Each piece is carefully crafted by Japanese furniture makers using traditional techniques. The furniture is finished with environmentally friendly plant-derived oils.
TANIT has two sofa styles designed by NISHIKAWA Katsuhito, one for your home and one for your office. Sofas for use at home are made for relaxing with lower seat heights. The lineup of office sofas includes designs that are both personal and functional.
